AI Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI-powered features for ProVision, with a focus on NLP, machine learning, and LLMs in production SaaS environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement ML models for document parsing, search, classification, and summarization;
• Integrate LLMs into product workflows with appropriate evaluation, reliability, and guardrails;
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver AI-driven features;
• Optimise model serving and inference for performance and cost in AWS;
• Develop data pipelines for model training and evaluation using PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and S3;
• Ensure AI solutions meet scalability, security, and compliance requirements;
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer or similar role, delivering NLP/ML solutions to production;
• Strong ML fundamentals and hands-on experience with NLP/ML frameworks such as spaCy, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow;
• Experience deploying and scaling LLM applications in production, including RAG, fine-tuning, evaluation, and monitoring;
• Strong Python skills and experience building APIs and integrating AI models into applications;
• Understanding of distributed systems and AWS, particularly ECS, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch;
• Experience building data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and monitoring;
• Ability to balance accuracy, cost, performance, and interpretability;
• English B2+ for daily communication.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in LegalTech or document-heavy domains;
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search, such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Pinecone, or FAISS;
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LLM evaluation;
• Experience with AI safety, compliance, and explainability;
• Familiarity with React/TypeScript and AI integration into user-facing applications.
