AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer with hands-on experience working in the Palantir ecosystem (Foundry and/or Gotham). You will design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions and data-driven applications that solve complex business problems. You will work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to operationalize AI/ML models in production environments using Palantir’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Python and modern ML frameworks
• Build end-to-end data pipelines and workflows using Palantir Foundry/Gotham
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions
• Develop and maintain production-grade ML systems, including monitoring and performance optimization
• Work with large, complex datasets and ensure data quality and governance standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and deliver actionable insights
• Integrate ML models into operational systems and applications via Palantir tooling
• Support data modeling, ontology design, and semantic layer development in Foundry
• Optimize existing pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Document architectures, workflows, and model lifecycle processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience building and deploying production ML systems
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data pipelines, distributed systems)
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data
• Knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles
• Experience with API development and integration of ML models into applications
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ontology modeling in Palantir Foundry
• Experience with AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) or LLM integration in Foundry
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, etc.)
• Experience in enterprise or government-scale data environments
• Background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering

• Ownership mindset and ability to drive projects independently
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
