We are looking for a Middle AI/ML Engineer to deliver production-ready integrations between an AI agent platform and third-party enterprise systems. You will configure official Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, harden community-maintained implementations, and build custom servers against public vendor APIs, with AI-assisted development embedded in your daily engineering workflow.
Required for this role
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0/2.1, including vendor-managed and customer-managed client registration models.
- Hands-on experience reading unfamiliar REST and SOAP APIs from documentation and independently building working integrations.
- Daily practical experience with AI-assisted development tools to scaffold code, generate tests, and accelerate boilerplate development.
- Production experience with Python or TypeScript, with the ability to deliver maintainable application code rather than standalone scripts.
- Practical security judgment when reviewing API client code, particularly around token handling, credential storage, and secrets management.
- Experience with Git-based version control, structured code reviews, and clear technical documentation.
- Ability to scope an integration from a vendor’s API surface, implement and test it, and support its progression through security review to production.
- Strong communication and confidence working with ambiguity, including escalating unclear requirements, risks, and scope changes early.
Your responsibilities
- Register and configure OAuth flows for official vendor MCP servers, validate them with test accounts, and prepare them for production use.
- Review community-maintained MCP server code for security risks and adapt its authentication handling to the existing secure credential-storage pattern.
- Scope and build custom MCP servers from REST or SOAP APIs when no suitable server exists, using vendor documentation and available OpenAPI specifications.
- Write automated test coverage and technical documentation that allow other engineers to maintain and extend your integrations.
- Align each integration’s authentication model with the established token and credential-storage approach.
- Validate integrations against real vendor accounts and intended production scenarios before sign-off.
- Challenge scope or architecture assumptions when they conflict with the vendor’s actual API capabilities, and communicate blockers and delivery risks early.
What you get
Your time off
- 18 paid vacation days and 10 paid sick days annually
- 10 Ukrainian public holidays
- Maternity and paternity leaves
- Marriage and Parenthood Package
- Additional leave for major life events
