About the role:
We are looking for an NLP Engineer Consultant to develop language processing solutions for defense and intelligence tasks — extracting insights from large volumes of text, radio intercepts and open-source data in multiple languages.

Responsibilities:
— Develop NLP models for classification, NER, information extraction and summarization.
— Process multilingual text data (Ukrainian, Russian, English), including noisy and informal sources.
— Build pipelines for speech-to-text and downstream text analysis.
— Fine-tune transformer models for domain-specific tasks.
— Evaluate model quality and build benchmarks on real operational data.
— Deploy NLP models in secure, on-premise environments.

Requirements:
— Hands-on experience in MilTech / Defense projects (e.g., UAV/UGV, ISR, EW, C2, targeting, sensor systems) — required.
— 3+ years of experience in NLP / ML.
— Strong Python; experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy or similar.
— Experience with multilingual models and Slavic-language text processing.
— Solid understanding of NLP evaluation metrics and experiment design.
— English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:
— Experience with ASR (Whisper or similar) and speech data.
— Experience with OSINT / intelligence analysis tooling.
— Experience with LLMs and RAG.
— Military service background.
