We are looking for an AI Engineer with practical experience in robotics, simulation, synthetic data and AI agents.

The first priority for this role is to understand how our 3D, simulation and configurator expertise can be useful for robotics teams: what training data they need, how synthetic data can help, where real-world data is required, and which product hypotheses are worth testing.

You will work at the intersection of AI, robotics, 3D/simulation and production software engineering. We expect you to be able to move from an unclear problem to research, technical discovery, prototype, evaluation and a clear recommendation for the next step.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze our current 3D/simulation projects and identify possible use cases for robotics.
  • Understand data requirements for training and evaluating robotics models.
  • Define where synthetic data, 3D scenes, procedural generation and simulation can create value.
  • Build prototypes and experiments for selected robotics or AI scenarios.
  • Design and implement AI-agent systems around LLMs, tools, APIs and internal data.
  • Integrate AI models into working services, pipelines and tools.
  • Set up evaluation, logging, monitoring and feedback loops for AI systems.
  • Work with developers, 3D artists, product stakeholders and potential users.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python skills and experience building backend services, APIs or ML systems.
  • Practical experience with robotics, robotic simulation, autonomous systems or related domains.
  • Experience with synthetic data, simulation environments, 3D/game engines or data generation pipelines.
  • Understanding of ML data lifecycle: collection, generation, labeling, validation, versioning and evaluation.
  • Experience integrating LLMs or AI models into real products or internal tools.
  • Experience with AI agents: tool calling, API integration, RAG, context/state management, retries and fallback logic.
  • Ability to deploy and operate AI services using Docker, cloud or similar infrastructure.

Nice to have:

  • ROS/ROS2, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo, Unity, Unreal Engine or Blender.
  • Camera/LiDAR/depth/segmentation datasets.
  • Domain randomization, Sim2Real, reinforcement learning or imitation learning.
  • LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI or custom agent orchestration.
  • PyTorch/TensorFlow, fine-tuning, model evaluation or ML experiment tracking.
  • Experience in game development, VFX, 3D pipelines or digital twins.

In the first 30 days, we expect you to understand our project context, analyze possible robotics use cases, describe data requirements and propose several product hypotheses.

By 60 days, we expect a working prototype or technical experiment, clear evaluation criteria, documented findings and a recommendation on whether to continue, change direction or stop the selected hypothesis.
