Android Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to work on a project involving Android Enterprise, MDM and system-level functionality.
 

About the Project

The main goal is to develop two plugins for Headwind MDM:

1. A plugin for collecting information about mobile data usage by installed applications.
2. A FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) plugin for managing Android system updates.
    

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with native Android development
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin / Java
• Experience with Android Enterprise
• Hands-on experience with Device Owner / Device Policy Manager (DPM)
• Understanding of MDM (Mobile Device Management)
• Experience developing platform-signed / privileged Android applications
• Experience with system-level Android functionality
• Good understanding of Android OS architecture
• English — B2+

Nice to Have

• Experience with FOTA / Android system updates
• Experience with AOSP
• Experience developing Android system applications or working close to the Android framework
