About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Mobile Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. You will contribute to mobile solutions, support architectural decisions, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks
• Build Store Capture and Transition Steering mobile solutions
• Integrate and maintain the Scandit scanning library
• Create modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Design and maintain robust state management and offline capabilities
• Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with Kafka-based backend services
• Ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, application performance, and release processes
• Take a technical leadership role in Android-related topics and drive technical decisions
• Support and mentor team members
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Backend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong expertise in Kotlin
• Extensive hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Solid understanding of Coroutines, Flows, and asynchronous programming
• Experience with Retrofit and/or Ktor
• Strong knowledge of REST API integration and API-first architectures
• Experience with unit and UI testing, including JUnit, Espresso, and Compose UI Testing
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and integration patterns such as REST and Kafka
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer, including architectural guidance and technical mentoring

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern web frontend development
• Strong knowledge of Vue.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
• UX/UI design experience
• Experience developing responsive web applications
