Android Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing digital advertising technology company operating a network of digital screens across high-traffic retail locations. They develop their own ad tech platform for campaign management, screen operations, monitoring, and advertising delivery.

We’re looking for an Android / Linux Developer to join a team building and maintaining a digital advertising technology platform. You’ll work on Android-based player applications, Linux environments, device communication, remote management, monitoring, and hardware-related software development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android-based player and device applications.
• Build and enhance software running on Linux-based devices.
• Implement device communication, monitoring, and remote management features.
• Integrate hardware components with the software platform.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the performance and stability of device applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers and product teams to deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Git/Jira development workflows.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Android development.
• Solid knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with device communication and remote management.
• Understanding of hardware-adjacent or embedded software development.
• Experience with Git, APIs, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
