Automation QA Engineer
QATestLab is an international provider of independent testing services with 20+ years of experience delivering QA support across multiple industries — from eCommerce, banking, and healthcare to game, media, and telecom. Our service portfolio includes manual testing and test automation services for web, desktop, mobile, and cloud applications.
We are expanding our team and looking for a full-time Automation QA Engineer to join us. You will work on a technically challenging project with diverse functionality and custom solutions, with plenty of opportunities to strengthen your automation skills. You will be part of a proactive, English-speaking team and have the opportunity to work with modern tools and AI.
We expect that you:
- Have 2 years of commercial experience in test automation with JavaScript; experience with Java will be an advantage
- Work with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or others
- Have practical experience configuring and using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or others)
- Have experience with test management and bug-tracking systems (Jira, TestRail, Mantis, or similar tools)
- Work with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab)
- Have B2 level of English (both spoken and written)
- Use AI tools (Codex, Claude, Cursor);
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to work: independently identify opportunities to improve processes and propose solutions
- Are eager to participate in team testing activities and communicate with clients as part of the project.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for various projects
- Create, maintain, improve, and extend test frameworks
- Create and maintain project documentation and prepare test reports
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Use AI tools (Codex, Claude, Cursor) for writing code and documentation
- Participate in planning and executing team testing activities, including test planning, re-testing, and regression testing.
