We are looking for a Senior/Lead AQA Engineer to drive test automation initiatives and ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of these solutions across software and hardware environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python.
Build automated testing solutions for iOS and Android applications.
Develop and maintain UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
Automate testing of IoT devices, embedded systems, and connected-product ecosystems.
Design and implement automation solutions for device communication, hardware interactions, and system integrations.
Validate interactions between mobile applications, cloud services, backend platforms, and connected devices.
Create and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and System-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing scenarios.
Automate device provisioning, configuration, firmware validation, and telemetry verification.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Embedded Engineers, Product Managers, and Architects.
Define automation best practices, testing standards, and quality engineering processes.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Test Automation / Quality Engineering.
Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory and primary automation language for the team).
Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with mobile automation testing for iOS and Android applications.
Strong experience with automation tools such as Appium, Maestro, and Cucumber.
Experience testing IoT products and connected-device ecosystems.
Experience with API testing and backend integrations (REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets).
Solid understanding of system integration testing across mobile, cloud, and hardware environments.
Experience working with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:
CAN Bus automation experience (highly preferred).
HIL/SIL, Embedded, IoT, firmware validation, and device simulation experience.
Knowledge of CAN Bus, MQTT, NMEA 2000, BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet/IP, and serial communication protocols.
Experience with hardware automation, telemetry systems, and Azure/AWS.
Familiarity with marine electronics or connected-device ecosystems.
Leadership or mentoring experience.
Additional programming languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, Kotlin, Swift).
Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Detox, Espresso, or XCUITest.
