Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who wants to work on exciting products for international clients, including the German-speaking market. If you love it when everything runs like clockwork, can spot bugs where nobody else would look, and feel comfortable communicating in both English and German, we would love to meet you!

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain automated tests for both Backend and Frontend
• Build a test automation framework from scratch or improve the existing one
• Analyze requirements and create test plans, test cases and checklists
• Perform functional, regression, integration and API testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Report, track and verify defects in Jira
• Collaborate closely with developers, managers and the client, including in German
• Suggest improvements to QA processes

What we expect:

• Middle+ or Senior level experience in test automation
• Solid hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress
• Scripting in Python or JavaScript
• Experience in Backend (API, REST) and Frontend testing
• Strong understanding of testing theory, approaches and methodologies
• Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum processes
• English: B2/C1
• German: B2/C1 (mandatory), as part of the client communication and documentation is in German

Nice to have:

• Experience setting up CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases
• Experience with Postman, Swagger or similar tools
• Load testing experience
• Familiarity with Docker
