About the project: FinTech
Requirements:
● 3+ years of experience in automation testing;
● 3+ years of experience with Programming language JS/TS
● Practical experience with Playwright for web test automation 2+ years;
● Practical experience with Appium (Maestro/WDIO) for mobile test automation 2+ years;
● Hands-on experience owning an automated E2E pipeline—Playwright, Maestro, Detox, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
● Solid understanding of API testing;
● Experience in writing test automation documentation;
● Knowledge of testing methodologies;
● Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or similar:
● Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket or similar;
● Experience with DB clients and strong knowlage of SQL;
● Good understanding of SDLC and STLC;
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
● Sharp eye for detail: you write clear, reproducible bug reports and think in edge cases.
● Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments and owning quality end-to-end.
● Familiarity with fintech / payments flows and the care money movement demands.
● Intermediate strong or higher English proficiency (spoken and written).
Responsibilities
● Perform automation testing of Mobile and Web application to ensure overall product quality;
● Contribute to test plans, test cases, and test documentation;
● Maintain Web test automation using JS/TS Playwright.
● Maintain Mobile automated test scripts using Appium + Mestro
● Own release qualification: decide what’s ready to ship to the App Store and Google Play, and stand behind that call.
● Own the full automation pipeline end-to-end—Playwright (web) and Maestro (mobile) — from authoring flows to wiring them into CI.
● Read the code well enough to write precise, reproducible bug reports — repro steps, stack traces, and a root-cause hypothesis.
● Fix simple bugs yourself and open the PR, rather than handing everything back to engineering.
● Define and raise the quality bar: test strategy, coverage priorities, flake reduction, and release checklists from day one.
● Catch regressions before users do across critical money-movement flows: onboarding, KYC, payments, transfers, and card.
● Partner closely with engineers and founders to make quality a fast, shared practice — never a bottleneck.
Nice to have
● ISTQB certification;
● Performance testing experience with Jmeter or similar tool.
