We are looking for a motivated Trainee AQA to join a long-term project in the logistics and supply chain domain. You will learn how quality assurance and test automation are applied in a real commercial environment while working with a web-based platform that supports order management, inventory tracking, shipments, integrations, and operational workflows. This role is suited for someone who has a foundation in software testing and programming and is eager to develop practical automation skills with guidance from experienced engineers.
Required for this role
- Strong motivation to learn and develop in test automation and software quality assurance
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and the software testing lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language and understanding of how programs work
- Understanding of how web applications operate, including client-server architecture
- Intermediate or higher level of English for communication and learning activities
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate issues systematically
- Ability to learn independently, apply feedback, and continuously improve technical skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with willingness to collaborate closely with engineers and other team members
- Basic knowledge of HTTP, APIs, and request-response communication, or willingness to quickly develop knowledge in these areas
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, or SQL; personal projects, completed courses, or hands-on practice in programming or software testing will be an advantage
Your responsibilities
- Learn the project’s functionality, architecture, and quality assurance processes
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving automated tests
- Execute automated and manual testing activities when required
- Review test execution results and investigate the causes of failed automated tests
- Identify, document, and report defects with clear reproduction steps and relevant supporting information
- Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and other team members to ensure product quality
- Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical discussions
- Follow established coding, testing, and documentation standards
- Gradually take ownership of assigned test automation tasks while continuously developing programming and testing skills
