We are looking for a strong QA Automation Engineer to join our core team on a permanent basis.
The product domain includes authentication, user data, integrations, and subscription/payment-related backend flows.
What you will do
- Write and maintain JS-based automated tests for API layer.
- Extend and support the existing Cucumber BDD suite.
- Keep automated checks stable in CI against AWS-hosted services.
- Investigate failures across services and file actionable defects.
- Maintain test documentation in Confluence and JIRA.
- Work with an international team in English.
What we need
- Strong JavaScript skills and solid commercial experience with automated testing.
- Basic understanding of Cucumber or equivalent BDD experience.
- Good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and Postman or equivalents.
- Experience maintaining test plans, test cases, and defects.
- Git in daily use.
- Confidence working with existing codebases.
- English for day-to-day technical communication.
Nice to have
- Hands-on Cucumber or equivalent BDD experience.
- AWS or another public cloud.
- Docker.
- Basic SQL.
- Chrome DevTools.
- Load or performance test automation.
- Background in subscription, payments, streaming, or other high-traffic product environments.
- Experience integrating AI tooling in test automation.
