At the core of the role
We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer with Drupal. Our client is a global platform for market engagement and digital innovation.
As a Senior PHP Engineer you will take part in setting standards, establishing guidelines and sharing best practices in order to ensure continuous learning and development.
Core skills you’ll bring
- 6+ years of experience as a PHP Engineer
- Strong experience with Drupal 11 and Drupal Core, including contributed and custom modules
- Strong understanding of performance optimization, software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Hands-on experience with multi-site architecture
- Familiarity with web application development, as well as solution architecture and design
- Solid knowledge of web development best practices, including code quality, maintainability, security, and scalability
- English — Upper-Intermediate level
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and their practical application in software development, code generation, debugging, documentation, and development workflow optimization
The impact you’ll create
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable and high-performing solutions using Drupal 11
- Develop, maintain, and extend core, contributed, and custom Drupal modules to meet business and technical requirements
- Contribute to application architecture decisions and support the design of innovative and efficient solutions
- Optimize web applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Support backlog refinement and planning
- Maintain technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
