About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Legal Tech engineering team and help build the next generation of an AI-driven litigation ecosystem. This role combines strong backend engineering, cloud architecture, and modern LLM/AI innovation.
You will build high-scale, secure, multi-tenant services that transform real-time transcription technology into AI-powered workflows and assistants used by legal teams. The role offers strong ownership, the opportunity to lead initiatives, and space to grow in AI development and modern AI-powered engineering tools.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience in high-scale production environments.
- Strong proficiency with Python, REST APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong experience designing and building distributed, cloud-native microservices.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, availability, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Ability to take ownership and drive projects end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Strong Advantage
- Practical experience with AI infrastructure: RAG, agentic frameworks, Langfuse, or LiteLLM.
- Formal education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with large-scale SaaS solutions.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM features into backend services, including prompting, embeddings, RAG pipelines, or fine-tuning.
