Description

The project focuses on developing and maintaining an on-premises environment for hosting AI-enabled applications and processing imaging data.

The solution is deployed on dedicated physical server infrastructure located within customer facilities and hosts both third-party and internally developed software components.

The engineering scope includes development and automation of the server environment, Linux configuration, containerized deployments, infrastructure automation, system integration, and automated verification.

The team will work on improving deployment reliability, maintainability, security, and operational efficiency of the platform across different customer environments.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated professional experience of 5–8 years in software development, with strong hands-on expertise in Python-based backend, automation, or infrastructure-related solutions.
  • Strong experience working in Linux-based environments and developing software intended for deployment on physical or virtualized server infrastructure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment and independently drive technical tasks from design through implementation and verification.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced Python programming skills, including experience developing maintainable, production-grade applications and automation solutions.
  • Strong practical experience with Linux OS, including system configuration, troubleshooting, scripting, and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized applications, image management, networking, and deployment.
  • Practical experience with Ansible for infrastructure configuration, provisioning, and deployment automation.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, build and deployment automation, configuration management, and environment management.
  • Experience implementing automated unit tests and integrating testing into development and CI/CD workflows.
  • Good understanding of networking, system services, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed or containerized applications.

     

Job responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based services, automation components, and infrastructure tooling for the AI Host environment.
  • Develop and maintain automated provisioning and configuration processes using Ansible.
  • Build and maintain Docker-based deployment environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based server environments used for on-premises deployments.
  • Participate in the design and evolution of the AI Host platform architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement deployment and configuration automation to simplify installation and maintenance of the solution in customer environments.
  • Develop comprehensive unit tests and automated verification mechanisms to ensure software quality and deployment stability.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve development, build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Investigate and resolve complex software, infrastructure, containerization, and operating-system-level issues.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with customers’ engineering stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools based on project requirements and technical constraints.
