Backend Engineer

We're seeking a talented Python Backend Developer to build reliable backend services for data-heavy SaaS platforms, integrations, and AI-powered products for clients in the US and Europe. If you enjoy owning backend features from data model to production, we'd love to hear from you!

Core Competence:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with strong Python skills and hands-on experience building production applications.
• Strong experience with FastAPI and asynchronous programming; experience with Django or Flask is also relevant.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, migrations, and query optimization.
• Experience building REST APIs and background jobs for production applications.
• Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD, and at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience writing automated tests with pytest and following production-quality development practices.

   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with LLM APIs, RAG features, or AI-powered applications.
• Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or other queue and background-processing systems.
• Experience with Supabase, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, or role-based access control.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs such as Stripe, HubSpot, Google, or Twilio.

• Upper-intermediate level of English for clear and effective communication in a global team.
