Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a backend engineer who enjoys building scalable cloud solutions, solving architectural challenges, and working on products used in real business environments.

You’ll be involved in designing backend services, improving system reliability, shaping technical decisions, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in a modern Azure ecosystem.

The project includes cloud-native development, distributed systems, integrations, and performance-focused backend architecture using Node.js and TypeScript.

Your Day-to-Day

• Build and improve backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design APIs and integrations for scalable cloud applications
• Work with Azure services such as Functions, Service Bus, App Services, Storage, and Key Vault
• Participate in technical discussions and architecture planning
• Optimize existing solutions and improve system performance
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform engineers on deployment and infrastructure topics
• Review code, contribute ideas, and help shape engineering best practices
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and transform them into technical solutions

We’d Love to See

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backend development
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Understanding of scalable architecture and asynchronous systems
• Confidence working with APIs, integrations, and modern backend patterns
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code
• Good communication skills and comfort working in collaborative teams
