Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Middle+ / Senior Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of enterprise-grade solutions.
This is a key engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, designing scalable systems, and taking ownership of features from concept through deployment. You will work closely with clients architects/techleads, product owners, QA engineers, and fellow developers to build reliable, high-performance solutions used in real business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Take ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Ensure high standards of quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to performance optimization, reliability improvements, and technical debt reduction.

Technical Requirements
Core Technologies

• Strong expertise in Python (3.10+) with a focus on asynchronous programming (asyncio).
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and aiohttp.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy (async engines/sessions).
• Experience with Alembic for database migrations.
• Experience working with asynchronous task queues such as ARQ and/or Celery.
• Solid understanding of Redis for caching, session management, and background processing.
  Cloud & Infrastructure
• Practical experience with AWS services, including ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and Cognito.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

Architecture & Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience implementing concepts such as idempotency, Outbox Pattern, and Event Sourcing.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Pytest and pytest-asyncio.
• Familiarity with modern development tooling, code quality standards, and security best practices.
