NovaCore builds smart digital solutions with pixel-perfect UX and reliable engineering foundations. We’re looking for a Python Developer who writes clean, maintainable code and is confident building reliable backend services and APIs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in modern Python and solid understanding of OOP principles.
• Practical experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, authentication, authorization, and client-server architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Experience with ORM tools such as Django ORM, SQLAlchemy, or similar.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and background processing.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• English level — B1+ for technical communication and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar background job technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud environments.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with pytest, unittest, or similar testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication.
• Understanding of clean architecture, SOLID, and common design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and modern web frameworks.
• Design and implement reliable RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases and optimize queries when needed.
• Integrate external APIs, services, and business workflows.
• Implement background tasks, asynchronous processes, and scheduled jobs.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and NovaCore’s engineering team.
• Review and improve code for performance, reliability, readability, and maintainability.
• Research and resolve technical issues using official documentation and trusted technical resources.
• Write and maintain automated tests for critical functionality.
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress proactively.
• Keep client/company tracking systems and repositories up to date.
