Backend Engineer

Title: Python Developer (Junior–Senior) / Backend Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team and work on a range of internal products, automation tools, integrations, and web services.

We welcome developers at different levels of experience — from Junior specialists with strong fundamentals to experienced engineers. We have tasks of varying complexity and will aim to match the role and responsibilities to your current skills and growth goals.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and internal tools.
• Build integrations with external APIs and services.
• Work with databases, data processing, and automation workflows.
• Improve existing code, fix bugs, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and technical teams.
• Gradually take ownership of larger features and services as your experience grows.

Our stack may include:

• Python 3
• FastAPI, Django, Flask
• PostgreSQL, Redis
• REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Docker, Git, Linux
• Background tasks and queues: Celery, RabbitMQ, or similar
• Cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools

You do not need to know every technology from the list. What matters most is a solid understanding of Python fundamentals, willingness to learn, and a responsible approach to work.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Python and basic software development principles.
• Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and Git.
• Basic database knowledge; SQL and PostgreSQL are a plus.
• Ability to read technical documentation in English.
• Attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to work in a team.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, Linux, cloud services, or CI/CD.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, data processing, or web scraping where legally and contractually permitted.
• Commercial experience, pet projects, GitHub portfolio, or completed technical courses.
