Backend Engineer

The project is focused on modernizing a railway measurement software platform used to monitor and analyze railway infrastructure. The solution supports data collection from railway measurement devices, enabling accurate track condition assessment and maintenance planning.

We are looking for an Intermediate .NET Engineer (WinUI/WPF) to join our team

Requirements:

• Two-year working experience with .NET (at least)
• Excellent knowledge of C#, .NET Core
• Good knowledge WinUI/WPF, XAML, MVVM
• Good knowledge of SOLID
• Awareness of Clean Architecture and layered/multitier architectures
• Experience with MS SQL or similar
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests
• Experience with AI agentic coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Antigravity, Cursor, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with .NET MAUI (would be a plus)
• Knowledge of German (written or spoken) (would be a plus)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)

• Develop and deliver applications in accordance with the established standards
• Research and reuse existing technical solutions
• Estimate tasks using different techniques
• Perform code review
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems
• Collect and share best practices of software development
