Backend Engineer

Enable3 is a Loyalty and Retention platform that helps brands bring customers back and grow lifetime value through structured loyalty programs, without building custom logic from scratch.

Our current focus is an app for Shopify brands: points, tiers, referrals and missions that merchants can launch quickly and measure through built-in A/B testing. We also work with digital-first businesses across fintech, telecom, edtech, gaming and SaaS through white-label, API and SDK integrations.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team.

It is important for us that you have:

• 5+ years of Java backend development
• Architecture design experience
• Experience designing RESTful API
• Experience with the Spring Boot ecosystem
• PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with AWS
• Performance optimization experience

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Shopify app backend development.
• Experience with Shopify Billing API, webhooks, and the Shopify App Store review process.

You will be responsible for:

• Working with cross-functional team on sprint goals
• Actively participating in roadmap design, planning, and execution
• Taking over and developing the backend of our Shopify app (billing, webhooks, App Store requirements)
• Database design (PostgreSQL)
• Building low latency event-driven architecture
• RESTful API design and implementation
• Prod metrics monitoring
