About the role
We're looking for a backend engineer to own the sports product within our ecosystem. You will build and maintain our integration with Odds88 and act as the go-to person for anything related to sports across the company.
What you'll do
- Own the backend integration with Odds88 (https://docs.odds88.io), from design to production support
- Be the point of contact for questions about the sports product
- Work closely with the product team and our tech lead to understand requirements and design clean, scalable architecture
- Build internal sports functionality beyond the integration: sports bonuses, bet slip, backoffice tools, and more
- Keep the integration reliable and well monitored, and handle odds, markets, and bet settlement edge cases
What we're looking for
- Strong backend engineering experience, ideally with integrations of third-party APIs and data feeds
- Prior experience with Odds88 or similar sports betting platforms (strongly preferred)
- Ability to take full ownership of a product area and work independently
- Clear communication with product and technical stakeholders
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time data (odds feeds, WebSockets, event-driven systems)
- Background in iGaming or betting products (bonuses, bet slips, backoffice)
