Backend Engineer

Work Format: Remote / Hybrid

Experience: 1+ years of commercial TYPO3 development

Mandatory Requirement: Active TYPO3 Certified Developer (TCCD) certification

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications built on TYPO3 (v11 / v12 / v13).
• Build custom extensions using Extbase and Fluid.
• Configure site parameters via TypoScript, Site Configuration, and Page TSconfig.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Optimize database queries and performance using QueryBuilder and Doctrine ORM.
• Write clean documentation for created modules and perform code reviews.

Requirements

• Certification: Valid TYPO3 Certified Developer credential.
• Experience: 1+ years of commercial development experience with TYPO3 CMS.
• Technical Stack:
  
  • PHP 8.1+, MySQL / PostgreSQL.
  • TYPO3 Architecture: Extbase, Fluid, FlexForms, Hooks / Events (PSR-14).
  • PSR Standards (PSR-1, PSR-4, PSR-12).
  • Dependency management with Composer.
  • Version control using Git.
• Tools: Practical understanding of local development environments (DDEV, Lando, or Docker).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Headless TYPO3 and GraphQL / REST API architectures.
• Frontend proficiency: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 / SASS.
• Hands-on experience configuring CI/CD deployment pipelines (Deployer, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
