Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a backend-focused JavaScript/TypeScript engineer to join our team in building high-throughput data infrastructure and analytics systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large-scale data, designing reliable backend services, and solving complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services handling large volumes of data
• Build and maintain high-availability systems in production environments
• Work with event-driven architectures, data streaming, and messaging systems
• Collaborate on system design, architecture decisions, and scalability improvements
• Contribute to DevOps processes (CI/CD, infrastructure, deployments)

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Solid understanding of data structures (e.g., binary trees, hash maps) and ability to apply them in real-world scenarios
• Proven experience designing and building high-load, high-availability backend systems
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
  
  • Data/event streaming (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
  • Messaging queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Good understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code)
• Strong computer science fundamentals (CS degree or equivalent)

Nice to have

• Experience using LLM tools to improve development workflows (e.g., automation, code generation, testing support)
