Backend Engineer

CodeIT is a service product development company. We know how to transform business ideas into profitable IT products. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Python Software Engineer(Contractor) to contribute to an exciting project.

Project Description: 

AI-driven cybersecurity SaaS platform focused on building next-generation Security Operations Center solutions. The product helps companies proactively detect and neutralize cyber threats through advanced automation and AI technologies.

The team is actively scaling internationally and is looking for experienced Python engineers to contribute to high-impact product initiatives, backend architecture, and platform scalability within a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of professional experience in back-end development, preferably in Python
- Experience with FastAPI and RESTful APIs
- Experience conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with modern SaaS technologies, including: Docker, Kubernetes / Databases (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse) / Queuing (Kafka, Celery) / Caching (Redis)
- Experience writing automated tests (e.g., Jest, Playwright, etc.)
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

- Experience in cybersecurity
- Experience working with LLMs
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker ecosystems
