NovaCore builds smart digital solutions with pixel-perfect UX and reliable engineering foundations. We’re looking for a .NET Developer who writes clean, maintainable code and is confident building scalable backend services and business applications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial .NET development experience.
• Hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core in production-level projects.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and modern C# features.
• Practical experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, authentication, authorization, and server-side architecture.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM technologies.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Understanding of database design, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• English level — B1+ for technical communication and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Minimal APIs, or background services.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud environments.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, or similar technologies.
• Experience with xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, or similar testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Experience with WebSockets, SignalR, or other real-time communication technologies.
• Understanding of clean architecture, SOLID, and common design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and business logic.
• Work with relational databases and optimize queries and application performance.
• Implement integrations with external APIs, services, and internal systems.
• Develop background services and asynchronous processing where required.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and NovaCore’s engineering team.
• Review and optimize code for performance, readability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write and maintain automated tests for critical functionality.
• Research and resolve technical issues using official documentation and trusted technical resources.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress proactively.
• Keep client/company tracking systems and repositories up to date.
