Backend Engineer

1. Develop, maintain, and support backend applications and services;
2. Develop REST APIs and integrate them with other systems;
3. Design databases and ensure efficient data management;
4. Optimize existing backend systems and improve their performance;
5. Investigate and resolve technical issues;
6. Write clean, readable, and maintainable code;
7. Develop new features and improve existing functionality;
8. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members;
9. Participate in code review processes;
10. Maintain technical documentation and follow development standards.

Requirements

1. At least 2 years of professional experience with one or more programming languages - Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, PHP, Ruby, Kotlin, Rust, or other programming languages used for backend development;
2. Practical experience in backend development;
3. Experience working with REST APIs and web services;
4. Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases;
5. Knowledge of Git and version control systems;
6. Understanding of OOP, data structures, and core software engineering principles;
7. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms;
8. Ability to optimize code and troubleshoot performance issues;
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker;
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
• Experience with microservices architecture;
• Knowledge of message brokers and asynchronous processing;
• Experience with unit and integration testing;
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
• General understanding of DevOps processes.
