Backend Engineer

We are looking to connect with senior Java developers for upcoming client projects and potential long-term collaboration.

What you will do

• Design and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot
• Integrate AI services (RAG, agents) into existing enterprise applications via REST, messaging and events
• Work with legacy systems: understand, refactor and extend them safely
• Design APIs, data models and integration flows

• Deploy on Kubernetes together with our DevOps engineers

   

Must have

• 5+ years of professional Java development, at least 3 years with Spring Boot
• Experience with enterprise integration: REST, Kafka or RabbitMQ, relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar)
• Docker and basic Kubernetes
• English at B2 level or higher

• Working hours overlapping with UTC+0 to UTC+4

   

Nice to have

• Experience integrating LLMs or AI services into Java applications (e.g. Spring AI, LangChain4j)
• Security standards: OAuth2, Keycloak, SSO

• German language skills
