We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join a long-term digital healthcare project.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience with Python
- Strong backend development experience
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Strong experience with pytest
- Understanding of async Python, type hints, and modern backend practices
- Experience with production systems, code reviews, and technical ownership
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Python backend services
- Build and maintain REST APIs
- Work with databases, migrations, and query optimization
- Integrate internal and third-party services
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews
- Support production services and mentor less experienced engineers
