Blockchain Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Developer to join a newly forming team and take a key role in building the blockchain component of a project focused on settlement, traceability, and interoperability.

This is an opportunity to join the project at an early stage, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the blockchain solution together with the Solution Architect and Business Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Build smart contracts for core settlement and traceability protocols
• Develop the orchestration layer, including sequencing, state synchronization, and failure isolation
• Build the DvP settlement module with compliance conditions
• Develop the contract version registry
• Build emergency suspension and rollback tooling
• Work closely with the Solution Architect and Business Analyst to gather and refine requirements for the blockchain component
• Contribute to the architecture and backlog of the blockchain part of the project
• Maintain a security-first approach throughout development
• Apply formal reasoning around settlement finality
• Prepare solutions to withstand an independent audit

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Solidity and/or Rust
• Experience with EVM and/or permissioned DLT
• Experience with Hyperledger Fabric, Besu, or Corda
• Experience with Hardhat or Foundry
• Experience with Slither, Mythril, or Certora
• Understanding of DvP and HTLC settlement patterns
• Practical experience using AI tools for smart contract development and review
• Strong security mindset
• Ability to reason formally about settlement finality
• Ability to work toward passing an independent audit
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to Have

• ISO 20022 experience, particularly for interoperability-related work
