Cross-platform Mobile Engineer

We are looking for a Senior React / React Native Developer to join Implex and work on a long-term GovTech project focused on a national-scale digital government platform in the Middle East. The role combines web and mobile development, platform enhancement, and delivery of new functionality for a large-scale public sector solution.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance a large-scale digital government platform
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in existing functionality
• Develop and implement new features in line with approved requirements and design
• Contribute to front-end and mobile application development
• Optimize mobile applications for Android and iOS
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on the client side
• Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and delivery planning
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance of delivered solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js
• Strong experience with React Native
• Experience with mobile app development and optimization for Android and iOS
• Solid understanding of front-end architecture and application lifecycle
• Experience working with Atlassian tools / DevOps-related processes
• Ability to work independently in a remote distributed team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to have (but not must)

• Experience with AWS platform / AWS-based tech stack
• Previous experience in government / public sector projects
• Experience working on enterprise-scale or high-load products
• Experience in international distributed teams
