🧩 About the Position

We are looking for a Lead React Native Developer to work on an international client project under a 12-month contract, with a possibility of extension.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android, combining hands-on development with technical leadership.

The role also includes coordinating an offshore development team, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and working closely with Product, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams.

The position involves working with a US-based team and collaborating across different time zones.

The main focus of the role is to lead the development and delivery of mobile applications using React Native.

You will be responsible for the technical side of mobile development, coordinating the offshore team, ensuring development standards are followed, and supporting application releases to the App Store and Google Play.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Lead the development of mobile applications using React Native.
• Design and develop applications for both iOS and Android.
• Lead and coordinate an offshore development team.
• Assign tasks, track progress, and help resolve technical issues.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development standards are followed.
• Work closely with Product, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize mobile application performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Support application releases to the App Store and Google Play.
• Mentor offshore developers and provide technical guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, and Redux.
• Experience developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party service integrations.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with mobile application testing and debugging.
• Experience publishing applications to the App Store and Google Play.
• Previous experience working with or leading offshore development teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work across different time zones, including collaboration with a US-based team.

• Independent Contractor / B2B engagement.
• 12-month contract with a possibility of extension.
• Rate: $50–60/hour (gross).
• Fully remote.
• Candidates from Ukraine and other locations are welcome, provided they can work according to the required schedule with the US-based team.
