Cross-platform Mobile Engineer

We are looking for Senior React Native Mobile Developer to join our client team.

Location: Remote (US-based project)
Industry: Health Insurance / InsurTech

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable components for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to deliver new features.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy requirements, especially within the healthcare domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with React Native and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience developing and deploying applications for both iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
• Familiarity with native mobile development concepts and debugging tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
