Cross-platform Mobile Engineer

We’re hiring a React Native Developer who actively uses AI coding assistants, Claude Code first of all, in their daily workflow. You’ll build and evolve a cross-platform mobile application that handles sensitive user data, where security, reliability, and privacy are core product requirements rather than afterthoughts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a React Native application for iOS and Android, from new features to bug fixes and performance improvements
• Use Claude Code and other AI coding tools as your primary development workflow, including planning, implementation, refactoring, and code review
• Implement secure handling of sensitive data: secure storage, encryption, token management, and safe data transmission
• Apply security best practices throughout the codebase, including authentication flows, session handling, and protection against common mobile vulnerabilities
• Integrate the app with backend APIs and third-party services
• Navigate and improve an existing codebase, including architecture, dependencies, and tech debt
• Write and maintain tests (Jest, React Native Testing Library, E2E where relevant)
• Maintain per-feature documentation (MD files)
• Ship fast, iterate, and communicate blockers early

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with React Native
• Strong TypeScript skills and a solid understanding of React fundamentals (hooks, state management, rendering performance)
• Daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor)
• Experience handling sensitive data and practicing security-conscious development (secure storage such as Keychain/Keystore, encryption)
• Experience with iOS and Android build processes and app store publishing
• Strong debugging skills, including the ability to catch and correct AI-generated mistakes
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
