About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to join a project focused on migrating enterprise clients from a legacy reporting system to a modern cloud-based Business Intelligence (BI) platform.
You will work with raw data, build reliable data models using dbt, and develop customizable dashboards for enterprise clients.
You will collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and client-facing stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, scalable BI solutions.

Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze client reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain data models using dbt, including staging, intermediate, and reporting layers.
- Design and develop reusable, customizable BI dashboard templates.
- Create reporting datasets that support client-specific configurations.
- Implement data quality tests, validation processes, and monitoring.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency between legacy and new reporting systems.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and client-facing teams.
- Participate in client demos, requirements discussions, and follow-up analysis.
- Maintain clear documentation of data models, dashboard templates, and data lineage.
- Identify project risks, manage dependencies, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.
- 2+ years of experience developing production dashboards using enterprise BI platforms.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt, including models, tests, macros, and documentation.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning for large datasets.
- Strong experience transforming raw data into structured reporting datasets.
- Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and star schemas.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses.
- Experience with Git, version control, and code review processes.
- Ability to gather requirements from business users and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with financial services, risk management, or compliance reporting.
- Python skills for data transformation and automation.
- Experience migrating dashboards from legacy reporting systems to modern BI platforms.
- Knowledge of dashboard governance, versioning, and template lifecycle management.
