Data Analyst

About the role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support data processing, validation, and compliance reporting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and ensuring data accuracy.

You’ll work with payroll, benefits, and employee data, using Excel and other tools to support reporting processes, troubleshoot data issues, and maintain high-quality information.

What you’ll do:

• Review, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources, including spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems

• Process payroll, benefits, and employee data to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Identify and resolve discrepancies, missing records, duplicates, and file errors

• Troubleshoot data imports and processing issues

• Organize and maintain structured, accurate datasets

• Support monthly and year-end compliance reporting processes

• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve data-related issues

• Assist with data quality checks, validation, and process improvements

• Support the Senior Data Analyst with data processing and reporting tasks

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience working with Microsoft Excel, including large datasets

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to identify inconsistencies and troubleshoot data issues

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with payroll, HRIS, benefits, or employee data is an advantage

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, databases, or business intelligence tools is a plus

• Experience with benefits administration platforms such as bswift, ENav, PlanSource, or Selerix is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
