Ruby Labs is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our fast-growing team working on JobAssist — an AI-powered job application platform that’s redefining how professionals find and land their next role.
In this role, you’ll collect, analyze, and transform data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the company. You’ll uncover growth opportunities, establish key benchmarks, and ensure every product decision is backed by reliable data. We expect full ownership of analytics, dashboards, and insights — with a strong bias toward action and impact.
You’ll also be expected to actively use AI tools — including Claude — as a core part of your workflow to move faster, generate hypotheses, and surface insights more efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Growth, and Data teams to deliver insights that move the needle
- Create new dashboards, maintain and improve existing reports including core product reports
- Conduct user behavior analysis, funnel analysis, and aha moment analysis
- Design and analyze A/B tests and translate results into clear recommendations
- Analyze data to find trends, patterns, and opportunities to maximize KPIs
- Monitor key metrics and proactively flag anomalies
- Design and build robust data models in SQL
- Analyze marketing funnel performance across paid channels (Meta, Google Ads) — CAC, ROAS, attribution, channel efficiency
- Partner with the UA team to measure campaign performance and optimize spend
- Use AI tools including Claude as part of your daily workflow
Qualifications
- Degree in an analytical field such as Math, Data Science, or Economics
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a product or subscription business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working on large datasets
- Advanced SQL
- Experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, or similar event-based analytics tools
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar
- Experience in subscription business metrics: churn, ARPU, LTV
- Experience in Marketing Analytics — attribution models, paid channel analysis, CAC/LTV
- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads reporting and performance analysis
- Actively uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in daily work
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or R
- Experience with GCP, BigQuery
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
- Experience with git and code review
