Data Engineer
About the project
US-based FinTech product working with large-scale data systems (batch and real-time).
Requirements (must-have)
— Strong Java (recent hands-on experience)
— Experience with large-scale data processing (millions+ records)
— Experience with Kafka or similar streaming systems
— Solid understanding of multithreading / concurrency
— Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms (DSA)
— English B2+
Responsibilities
— Build and maintain data pipelines (batch / streaming)
— Process high-volume data and real-time streams
— Ensure data quality (validation, deduplication, consistency)
— Design system architecture and choose appropriate tools (Kafka, Redis, etc.)
— Optimize performance and reliability under load

— Redis, Elasticsearch
— Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure)
— Real-time analytics
AI (secondary requirement)
— Experience with AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) or willingness to use them
— Ability to review AI-generated code
