About the Project
DevBrother is seeking a Data & Integration Engineer for a European telecommunications provider. Working in parallel with the AI Infrastructure Lead, your core mission will be to wrangle, structure, and reconcile complex business and telecom data. You will build the remote pipelines that ultimately feed into the newly established on-premise LLM ecosystem, with periodic travel to Croatia for stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL & Data Pipelines: Design and maintain pipelines to import files from numerous external sources, handling varied and inconsistent spreadsheet or CSV layouts.
- Data Extraction & Structuring: Parse messy, semi-structured data (LLM-assisted extraction experience is a strong advantage).
- Reconciliation: Match and validate disparate datasets, configuring tolerance levels, exception handling, and automated difference reports.
- Telecom & Billing Processing: Work heavily with pricing lists, tariffs, invoicing, and complex billing systems.
- System Integration: Write processed data into legacy or in-house systems via staging tables, APIs, or import files.
- Database Architecture: Manage and optimize large-scale tables in SQL (preferably MariaDB/MySQL).
- Business Logic & Testing: Implement configurable business rules, approval workflows, and anomaly flags. Write automated tests for various input formats and matching logic regression.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Conduct workshops with business users to translate requirements into technical specifications and support user testing phases.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, ETL pipelines, and SQL (MariaDB/MySQL).
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) or Advanced English to conduct workshops and gather requirements directly from business users.
- Strong Plus: Domain experience in Telecom/VoIP, including familiarity with rate sheets, CDRs, dial codes, and ASR/ACD metrics.
- Proven ability to untangle messy data and build robust reconciliation processes.
- Ability to work independently in a parallel track, ensuring data pipelines are production-ready for final AI model integration.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Croatia for team collaboration and business alignment sessions.
We OFFER:
