We’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator / Developer to join the team of a European product company in the mobile payments space. You’ll work with a large-scale MS SQL environment and play an important role in keeping the product’s data infrastructure reliable and efficient.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain scalable database architecture, schemas, tables, and relational data models.
- Configure, secure, and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, execution plans, and indexing strategies.
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Develop and maintain business reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders on data-driven solutions.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA and/or Database Developer.
- Strong expertise in relational database design and data architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with indexing, execution plans, and database maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- English level sufficient for communication in an international environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with JasperReports / Jaspersoft Studio.
- Experience supporting billing operations, including auditing financial data, investigating data discrepancies, and validating invoicing logic.
