DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Support Engineer to keep Kyivstar’s Big Data platform and data products running reliably every day. You will own the full incident lifecycle — from the first alert and triage to root-cause analysis, permanent fix and prevention — across our data pipelines, cloud and on-premises environments.

Requirements:

— 0,5+ years of experience as a Support Engineer.

— Basic knowledge of Linux

— Experience with git

— Experience with sh/bash

— Experience with diagnostic tools (curl, telnet, dig, etc.)

— Experience with monitoring and alerting systems like Prometheus, Grafana or others;

Will be a plus:

— Experience using configuration management software (Ansible, Terraform)

— Experience working with scripting languages experience (Python preferred).

— Experience with Docker, Kubernetes,

— Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI or others.

— Experience with ELK stack

— Infrastructure as a code, GitOps principles understanding

— Experience working with Cloud (AWS preferred)

— Experience with relational databases such as PostgeSQL, or others.

Responsibility:

— Incident management

— Maintaining environments and applications (AWS, on-prem servers, K8s clusters, etc.)

— Support development and BA teams

— Configuring and maintaining monitoring systems
