Our Client is an engineering-focused startup that combines data analytics with software development. It operates in three main areas: investigative analytics, crypto market research, and cybersecurity. It specializes in developing custom software solutions that handle large-scale data analytics and investigative workflows. Join the team and help build the foundation for a safer digital future.

Responsibilities

Deploy & Maintain: Manage bare-metal and virtual servers with a focus on uptime and security.
Network Architecture: Secure internal networks, manage firewalls, VPN gateways, and routing tables.
Troubleshoot: Perform deep dives into systemic reliability issues and packet-level network faults.
Monitor: Enforce best practices for metrics gathering and alarming.
Manage: The collaboration and maintenance of servers that are multiple terabytes, as well as services such as Obsidian, Trello, and GitHub.

Requirements

Ansible Exposure: Practical experience writing and running playbooks for automation and configuration management.
Deep Networking & Security: Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and hardening. Experience setting up VPNs and configuring complex Access Control Lists (ACLs) is mandatory.
Terminal Native: You must be comfortable working in the CLI.
Self-Hosted Experience: Experience deploying services for multiple user profiles (multitenancy) and managing permissions.
Intermediate level of English
