DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer (DevOps AWS focused) with strong DevOps expertise and backend development to join an engineering team working on modern, cloud-native applications.

You will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from designing and implementing backend services to building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with hands-on AWS experience and actively leverages AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities:

— Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

— Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

— Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and AWS ECS / Fargate.

— Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

— Configure and manage AWS networking, IAM permissions, secrets, and security.

— Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability and performance.

— Work with databases, messaging systems, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.

— Use AI coding assistants and agentic development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and technical research.

— Take end-to-end ownership of engineering tasks, from technical analysis and architecture to implementation and production support.

Key Requirements (Must-Have):

— Several years of professional software engineering experience at Senior level.

— Strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript and Node.js.

— Solid experience developing backend services, APIs, and integrations.

— Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

— Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar).

— Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration, ideally AWS ECS / Fargate.

— Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and secrets management.

— Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.

— Strong understanding of software architecture, clean code, and maintainable systems.

— Practical experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g. Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar).

— Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.

Nice to Have:

— Experience with AWS Load Balancers, DNS, and advanced networking.

— Experience with cloud databases and messaging / queueing systems.

— Knowledge of observability practices, including metrics, distributed tracing, and alerting.

— Experience building AI-assisted engineering workflows or automation.

— Experience working with AI agents and agentic coding environments.
