DevOps Engineer

Team Lead Infrastructure / NOC-SRE Lead

We are hiring for our partner — an international crypto payments company — and are looking for a Team Lead Infrastructure / NOC-SRE Lead to lead an infrastructure and production operations team.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll manage the NOC / Infrastructure / SRE team, improve operational processes, own incident management and escalations, while staying technically involved in complex Linux, networking, and database troubleshooting.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop the NOC / Infrastructure / SRE team

• Organize shifts, on-call rotations, escalations, and team coverage

• Own incident management: alerts, routing, SLA/SLO, escalation, and postmortems

• Drive RCA and problem management

• Build and improve operational processes in Jira, Confluence, KB, and task trackers

• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability

• Coordinate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product teams

• Take hands-on involvement in complex production incidents

• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and databases at L3 level

• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, procedures, and operational standards

• Mentor engineers and ensure the quality and consistency of the team’s work

• Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Team Lead, NOC Lead, Infrastructure Lead, or SRE Lead

• Proven experience managing and mentoring an engineering team

• Experience supporting production and business-critical services

• Strong background in incident management and escalation processes

• Practical experience with RCA, postmortems, and problem management

• Solid Linux administration background

• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, New Relic, Splunk, or similar

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, knowledge bases, or similar tools

• Ability to build effective processes without unnecessary bureaucracy

• Willingness to remain hands-on, not purely managerial

• English sufficient for technical documentation and communication

• SRE background

• Kubernetes / Docker

• Terraform / Helm / GitLab CI

• Cloud experience: GCP / AWS / Azure

• PostgreSQL / MySQL

• MikroTik / L2-L3 switches / VLAN

• Experience with 24/7 production operations

• Background in fintech, crypto, highload, or e-commerce
