DevOps Engineer

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform.
• Solid experience with Docker for containerization and understanding of container orchestration concepts.
• Demonstrable experience with Nginx configuration and optimization for web application delivery.
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
• Familiarity with applications and deployment strategies for PHP and Node.js environments.
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch/ELK stack) for logging, monitoring, and data analytics.
• Experience with monitoring systems like Zabbix and/or Grafana.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Administer and optimize database systems including MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Manage and troubleshoot Redis instances for caching and real-time data processing.
• Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Docker, ensuring efficient resource utilization and deployment consistency.
• Configure and maintain Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxying, and efficient serving of web content.
• Monitor and optimize OpenSearch clusters for logging, analytics, and search functionalities.
• Collaborate with development teams specializing in PHP and Node.js to provide infrastructure support, optimize application performance, and resolve production issues.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
