P3 Alpha is part of the P3 Group, focused on building a next-generation core banking platform for private banks, wealth management firms, and financial institutions.
Our team develops modern fintech products and scalable digital solutions that support banking operations, payments, cards, customer management, compliance-related processes, and integrations with external financial services.
We are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our DevOps team and contribute to the development and improvement of our cloud platforms and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer and a strong team player, who can independently deliver complex infrastructure and platform work while also taking ownership of selected technical processes, standards, and improvement initiatives.
About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving the infrastructure and software tools used by P3 Alpha, its customers and affiliates.
You will work closely with Engineering, Technical Support, R&D and other stakeholders to build stable and performant environments on the managed private cloud.
Primary responsibilities
- Cloud infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
- Network management (VPC networks, ingresses, firewalls, VPN servers, etc)
- Installation and maintenance of internal corporate tools (Wiki, Project management systems, Git repositories, etc)
- Manage observability and logging tools and processes
- Improvement of platform automation (CI/CD, IaaS, Kubernetes)
- Database maintenance (backups, replications, permission management, etc)
- Incident response
Writing and maintaining documentation, related to the owned processes

Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in areas like DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related area
- 4+ years of experience with private clouds on GCP or AWS
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu preferable) and general networking
- Experience with configuring DNS, load balancing, firewall rules, and network policies
- Strong hands-on experience with managing Kubernetes clusters and workloads
- Experience with Terraform or similar IaaS tools
- Experience with Helm, Ansible, FluxCD, or similar deployment-management tools
- Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI or similar tools
- Participation in production incident resolution
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with owning and maintaining observability assets: logging, monitoring, etc
Would be a plus
- 2+ years of leadership experience in DevOps/SRE or related area
- Experience with implementation of security controls
- Experience with facilitating penetration tests
- At least some experience with administration of relational databases (PostgreSQL is preferred)
- At least some experience with administration of MongoDB
- Working knowledge of setting up and maintaining OpenVPN or similar VPN solutions
- Documentation skills
