We’re looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support a large financial project where reliable infrastructure, release quality, and operational stability directly affect business outcomes. You’ll work with deployment pipelines, Kubernetes-based environments, observability, and production support while learning from experienced DevOps engineers and helping development and QA teams deliver software safely and consistently.

Required for this role

  • Good understanding of version control systems such as Git
  • Basic hands-on experience with automation scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python through training, internships, academic work, or personal projects
  • Familiarity with artifact management concepts and tools such as Nexus or Artifactory
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and exposure to Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals and familiarity with Java, Python, or Node.js ecosystems
  • Basic knowledge of containerization with Docker and an understanding of Kubernetes concepts
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud through coursework, training, personal projects, or internships
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging concepts and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor
  • Understanding of infrastructure automation and configuration management concepts; exposure to Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus
  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2), strong motivation to learn, a problem-solving mindset, and effective communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Your responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining and improving deployment pipelines under the guidance of experienced DevOps engineers
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to support CI/CD processes and software delivery activities
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools
  • Support troubleshooting across development, testing, and production environments
  • Participate in release activities and post-deployment validation to help ensure successful software delivery
  • Contribute to automation initiatives that improve development and operational efficiency
  • Assist with infrastructure and configuration management tasks across different environments
  • Create and maintain infrastructure, deployment, and troubleshooting documentation
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud technologies, containerization, and automation tools while contributing to team initiatives
